Every model of hard drive and of course the size, will have different synchronization times. The total length of time depends on many factors, and activity on the CM4, such as normal user access and file transfers, can have an effect on synchronization, as this occurs in the background while the unit is running. As an example, if the box is idle, four 250GB hard drives can take up to 20 hours for synchronization to complete.
