What is the expected dress code for job interviews in the Digital Media market?
The current standard appears to be smart-casual. However, as a recruiter, it is becoming unclear as to what dress code will be acceptable to the hiring manager. A general rule of thumb is that for more senior positions, or client-facing roles, candidates should be smartly dressed, with the creatives likely to turn up in scruffy jeans and a t-shirt! I’d be interested in hearing responses from both the hiring managers and candidates perspective.
