What is the “exit exam” (MAPP: Measure of Academic Proficiency and Progress) for AA and BLS students?

One of the graduation requirements for all AA and BLS students is an exit exam called the MAPP: Measure of Academic Proficiency and Progress, which students usually take during their last semester before graduation. Although, strictly speaking, you can’t fail the test (it is an instrument used by AASU to evaluate the Liberal Studies Program as a whole, not individual students), neither can you graduate without it. If you complete the MAPP for an AA degree you will not be required to take the test again if you go on to complete a BLS degree.
