What is the excerpt text for?
In this tab, you prepare your post for its appearance on BloggersBase homepage or the category page. If you are publishing a Nugget, it will also make occasional appearance on the surface blog, outside the Goldmine in its excerpt form. We generate a default excerpt text for you, simply by using the first sentences of your posts. If you prefer to change this text just uncheck the box below and type it in. If you plan on submitting a “video-only” post, it might also be a good idea to type in a short description here.
