What is the etiquette regarding tipping on the boat ?
We would recommend a minimum of £40 GBP per person for tipping the crew on this voyage , but again this is entirely at the discretion of the client how he wishes to tip. Please note that tipping is a completely different concept to what Is called “baksheesh” in Egypt , which is a traditional form of Alms; it is entirely at the discretion of the client if he wishs to Offer “baksheesh” to members of the public outside the boat. Tipping can be given in the following currencies: US dollar, GBP(£), the Euro and in Egyptian Pounds (E) and it is advisable to offer such tips to the boat manager at the end of the voyage.
