It’s rude for ANY wedding couple to mention presents or gift preferences in their invitations, so they did it right! It is just the same as for a first wedding. The only difference is that second-time brides are not given any showers. You gift if you wish to, and it’s not required if you don’t wish to gift them. If their house is full of stuff, consider something consumable as a gift, like wine or gourmet food of some type.
