What is the estimated size of the internet?
Eric Schmidt, the CEO of Google, the world’s largest index of the Internet, estimated the size at roughly 5 million terabytes of data and it’s constantly expanding by 100 terabytes per month. Here’s another interesting tidbit, your brain holds an estimated 10 terabytes of stored data. This number could in fact be bigger because the brain compresses data better than a computer.
