Preliminary estimates are supported by previous professional studies of the Gold Sands. In 1999, MTI Holland (a division of IHC, the world’s largest dredge manufacturer), undertook metallurgical test work and engineering studies on a portion of the property now controlled by Constitution. The 1999 MTI analysis was updated in 2009 for Constitution Mining and a preliminary Master Plan (Scoping Study) was announced. For more information, click here. Their sampling indicated a grade of 350 milligrams per cubic centimeter.
