The approximate cost of building a 4×4 was $130 based on prices at a national home improvement chain in Houston, Texas in May 2000 when we put the plans together. I think the last blind we built was about $180. The cost of the 4×8 in Oct 2005 was $270. The prices can vary from place to place depending on the price of lumber.
