What is the EPMD (Employee Performance and Motivation Development) method?
The EPMD method is an approach for carrying out a consulting project where it is possible to identify the current level of employee motivation and their expectations for the future. At the same time, it is also possible to identify the current level of employee stimulation by the organisation. Based on this information, the organisation can define the steps necessary to increase the performance of an individual by working on the individual’s motives in a targeted manner. Two methods are used to carry out EPMD: • method of managed interviews with a selected circle of employees, • an anonymous employee satisfaction survey. The data obtained is processed into output which usually contains: • An assessment of the current situation for the area of motivation and that of stimulation • Identification of the organisation’s status in terms of performance and motivation, • A suggestion on how to implement changes and measures.
