The ultimate purpose of this requirement is to assess your ability to successfully complete courses conducted in English. Our regular MS in Criminal Justice program in Boston require all international candidates to submit both TOEFL and GRE scores. However, we made it more flexible for Chinese candidates who are applying for our MSCCJ program taught mostly in Xiamen. We accept several types of English test scores. You may submit one of the following test scores: Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL), International English Language Testing System (IELTS), Public English Test System (PETS), College English Test (CET), and Graduate Record Exam (GRE). Scores are acceptable as long as tests were taken within the past five years from the date of application. If you are currently a Masters student at School of Law, Xiamen University, you may use your graduate school entrance exam English test scores.
