What is the English as a Second Language Progra?
The English as a Second Language program is specially designed for students whose first language is not English. The program offers a sequence of college credit courses which help students improve their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. After successfully completing the program, students are eligible to enroll in English 100, College Level Writing, which is required for entrance to most universities.
