What is the EMVCo Associates Program (EAP)?
The EMVCo Associates Program (EAP) is the way that interested members of industry can actively engage in EMVCo activity. The EAP is designed to facilitate broader participation in EMVCo’s standard setting efforts. It establishes two new types of EMVCo participation: Business Associates for Payment Service Providers, and Technical Associates for all other industry stakeholders. Participation in both categories is fee-based, with the objective being to recover a portion of the costs associated with introducing and maintaining the program on an ongoing basis.
