What is the Emergency Response Team?
The Emergency Response Team (ERT) is a medical team of nurses, and pre-hospital personnel working together to provide quality and service oriented medical care to a wide range of participants and spectators at varied community events. East-West Safety’s ERT is dedicated to providing a high standard of medical coverage at these events. The team operations are under the direction of Medical Director Robert McCoy, DO. Our medical coverage is at the BLS level, but we do coordinate our services with the local EMS system. The ERT follows guidelines of national, state, and local regulatory bodies. We are professional, visible, and service oriented in assuring a safe environment for event customers and participants. The ERT provides prompt, efficient care to the consumer with the goal to return the customer to the event.
