What is the Embassy doing to increase the number of Russian tourists going to Germany?
Russian tourists wishing to travel to German turn, first of all, to the Embassys visa subdivision and consulates general in their respective regions. We are doing our best to process visa applications as flexibly and promptly as possible, without any red tape. The visa subdivision has opened a special window for frequent tourists. In addition, we are closely cooperating with Russian travel agencies at exhibitions and special receptions. We regularly talk to accredited travel agencies and try to take account of their suggestions and wishes. Incidentally, the forthcoming Moscow International Travel & Tourism (MITT) Exhibition is scheduled to take place in Moscow on March 1821.
