What is the email notifier?
• The email notifier is one of the most popular and most widely-used components in the Conduit network. The email notifer is a component on the toolbar that lets the user know when new email arrives in his personal inbox (without needing to be logged in and viewing their inbox). As a publisher, to add an email notifier all you need to do is add the component to the toolbar from your toolbar control panel. As a user, to set up the email notifier, first check that your email account type/format is supported by the Conduit email notifier. We currently support the following account types and formats: Gmail, Windows Live (Hotmail), Yahoo (and its subdomains), Comcast, AOL, RoadRunner and POP3 (All except for encrypted SSL POP3 accounts); To get started: Log out of all your e-mail accounts before accessing them through the Email notifier; Make sure your browser is set to enable cookies; and click the email notifier component on the toolbar.
