What is the email address for my class Mailman list?
Classlists on mailman use the format SECTIONNAME_QQYY. Example: Astronomy 101, section AA in Winter Quarter 2012 will have the listname astr101a_wi12 and the corresponding email addresses astr101a_wi12@u.washington.edu and astr101a_wi12@uw.edu. After submitting a request to create a class Mailman list you will recieve an email confirmation that includes the name of the newly created list. Remember while the list has been created it will not receive list of student email addresses until 6am the next morning.
