What is the Eligibility for SC Scholarship for students in Hyderabad Public Schools?
The SC children whose parental income does not exceed RS. 12000/-p. a and only one child from a family are eligible for sanction of S/ship from Social Welfare Department. The eligibility of age for admission is 3+, 5+and 9+ for Class PPI, Ist and Vth, respectively as on 31st May and 30th September for which the admission is sought in both the Public Schools at Begumpet and Ramanthapur respectively. The applications of SC children are called for from all the Dy. Directors (SW) in the state and are forwarded to the respective Schools where the School authorities conduct, Interview for Class PPI and by Entrance Test for Class Ist and Vth. The SC children selected in the interview and entrance test are sanctioned S/ships from Social Welfare Department which covers School fees, Special fees, mess, books, maintenance charges, stationery etc. without showing any discrimination on par with general students.
