What is The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion?
Oblivion is the latest in a long line of quality role playing games from Bethesda. I have to be honest, I played Daggerfall when it came out and I hated it, and I played Morrowind when it came out and I didn’t like it much either. I only gave Oblivion a try because I had just quit World of Warcraft and I hadn’t figured out what to do with all the free time I discovered I had. However, I’m glad that I did, because Oblivion is simply amazing in quality, scope, and design. This is one of the best role playing games you will ever play. What does this game do well? As someone who really hasn’t liked the Elder Scrolls series until now, I can easily say that everything about the game is amazing. Oblivion is far more accessible than any of its predecessors, while still remaining very open ended. The difference is mostly in the interface from what I can tell.
