What is the elastic strap in the right slipper for?
You will notice that your shoes come rolled up and secured by the elastic strap in the right shoe. This elastic strap maintains the compact shape of the shoe. When you are wearing the shoes simply tuck the strap into the back of the shoe. You will hardly notice it is there! When you are done using your Spare Soles place them sole to sole and roll from the top down and loop the restraining strap around. This will help keep them rolled and compact. If it bothers you or breaks go ahead and cut it out. Your shoes will still roll or fold in half without the strap.
