Based on previous experience, integrating Secure Vault Payments almost exclusively involves existing financial institution interfaces and systems and is typically smaller than a mid-size project with the majority of the effort repurposing existing functionality. For those financial institutions that are customers of gateway providers that offer Secure Vault Payments (eg FIS, Jack Henry, Harland Financial) the implementation effort is negligible having been done by their provider with the financial institution needing only a contract addendum and training to support operations.
