Effective May 13, 2011, the Board shall impose the following: A certificate or license issued by the Board shall be valid for two (2) years following the date of issuance. The statutory amendment reduces the licensure renewal period of all licensees from three (3) years to two (2) years and thus mirrors the renewal cycle of the majority of the other States. An Appraiser Trainee shall be eligible to renew his/her trainee license for “not more than 4 two-year periods after the original date of issuance”.
