What is the effect of the migration on the end-user community?
A. The “effect” to the end-user community is up to you. This issue is separate from the conversion issue. It’s up to the client to determine what changes the users want, and what would help the end-users in their productivity. From a migration stand-point, there need not be any impact on the end-user, since the user interface can be left unchangedusers would not know that the system was moved to an open platform except for the increase in performance, and the increased access to the system. If the client determines that [a sub-set of] users could benefit from a new [web based GUI] interface, Unicon had the automated tools and knowledge to convert the screens as part of the project.
