What is the educational system in Dubai like?
Schooling in Dubai is important to the people, and more schools are developing on a regular basis. Dubai’s schools are conducted in English and use a primarily English method of instruction. Nurseries and pre-schools vary in price, with some ranging to a very costly fee. Primary schools sometimes give entrance exams, and most of them offer British education. By age 11, children move into high school, where there are a variety of curriculums used in the educational system. They will most likely be taught under a CBSE or ICSE Indian syllabus (as is in several of the modern Dubai high schools), British syllabi (as in the 11 to 18 secondary schools), or American syllabi (many of these schools offer an accredited American high school diploma and the International Baccalaureate Diploma). There are a few schools that teach with Canadian and Japanese syllabi. Some of the schools offering high school instruction in Dubai are: • Dubai Modern High School • Dubai English Speaking School • Dubai Co
