If you are aged 16-18 years and you are about to leave, or have already left, compulsory education, you may be eligible for an Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA). Your further education course(s) must add up to more than 12 guided learning hours per week, and your household income can be a maximum of £30,810 for you to receive a weekly payment.
