WHAT IS THE EDITORS CONCLAVE?
In conjunction with the reunion weekend and the Saturday conference, we are pulling together a group of news media executives who are gatekeepers of arts coverage in their publications (we welcome your thoughts about whom to invite). Talking about arts journalism with other arts journalists is important, but we also want to reach those editors who make decisions about what place arts journalism will have in their publications. Former NAJP board member Stu Wilk will be assisting us with recruiting this group. The editors and publishers will be invited to join us starting Friday evening; they will attend the Saturday conference and the gala dinner, then meet together in their own session on Sunday morning.
