What is the editorial process involved in GCR country reports?
The country reports are developed over a 7-9 month period through an iteration of drafts. As part of the standard editorial process, the GCR editorial team obtains input from expert peer reviewers, fact-checkers, libel lawyers and copy-editors. The peer review involves two reviewers and is double-blind, meaning reviewers are selected by the GCR editorial team at the TI-Secretariat and neither authors nor peer reviewers know each other’s identity.
