What is the Edge Partnership of Schools in Birmingham?

0

‘The EDGE’ is an established partnership of ten schools in the south west of Birmingham working closely and collaboratively on a range of issues and takes much strength from its common purpose and desire which is to work together to improve the education and future of children across south west Birmingham. The schools are very different, including a voluntary aided school, specialist schools for autistic children, physically disabled and behaviourally challenged children, as well as schools which serve some of the most deprived areas of the city and some highly achieving academic schools. It is from this diversity – the different routes, different histories and different challenges – that the partnership draws much of its energy and achievement. Details and locations of the individual schools are given in ‘The EDGE Schools section. The EDGE is Chaired by Sara Brehony, Head Teacher of Turves Green Girls School.
