To reflect the generosity of the eBay community’s support of charitable organisations, eBay will donate the same percentage of its Final Value Fees as the seller donates of the final selling price. Charities will need to pay Final Value Fees for each item and eBay.co.uk will subsequently donate Final Value Values in a lump-sum each quarter. Also, charities participating in the programme will soon be able to apply for a special discounted charity-only rate with PayPal – they can apply at www.paypal.co.uk/charity.
