What is the easiest way to train a small cat to use the litter box?
Make sure to train him immediately. The longer you dilly-dally around the more likely it will become a habit and then he will never stop peeing in all the wrong places. First things first, make the litter box accessible and easy to get in and out of for him. The litter box needs to be CLEAN- uber clean. Generally cats learn easily so hopefully if you put your cat in the box or gently make him sit in the box he will learn that there is the restroom. It could be he has a UTI and it hurts to defecate in the litty or the crystals you are using are too rough etc. Also a really good way to clean up a mess is with Natures Miracle.
