What is the easiest way to meditate?
When a stray thought interferes with your counting, just notice it and return to your counting. Let it go and do not become caught up in it. In terms of the easiest posture, probably it is the kneeling posture. Pile up some pillows or fold over a piece of carpet and sit back on it so that your butt is higher than your knees, which are touching the ground. Push your stomach forward to straighten your back and tuck your chin in. Sit in front of a blank wall and let your eyes be open but lowered. Let your shoulders and arms relax with your hands on your lap. Breathe with your stomach, not your chest.
