What is the easiest or cheapest way to travel from Gatwick Airport to London Kings Cross?
There’s a direct train from Gatwick South Terminal to Kings Cross St Pancras. It’s run by London Capital Connect and they are every 15 minutes during the day and once an hour at night. If you arrive at Gatwick North Terminal, there’s a transit (basically a horizontal lift) that takes you to South Terminal in just over a minute. You need to catch a train in the direction of Bedford (not Brighton) When you get to St Pancras, the escalator brings you up into the Main Line station (which is well worth a view). Kings Cross main line station is next door – just follow the signs.
