Earth Day on the National Mall is a large-scale, free Earth Day Festival with live music, entertainment, speakers and environmental activities will take place on the National Mall in Washington DC on Sunday, April 19, 2009. This event is the Thank You concert for those participating in the Washington D.C.-area volunteer actions. This event is free and open to the general public. However, there will be a special VIP area cordoned off for those who volunteered in the Washington D.C. area. More info on Earth Day is available at www.earthday.
