For meeting the CME requirement to earn the initial CAQ, the 150 hours of Category I CME must have been earned within six years prior to applying for the CAQ exam, and 50 of those hours must have been earned with two years of applying for the exam. For CAQ maintenance, the 75 CME hours must be earned within the current six-year CAQ cycle. These requirements are listed in the Governing Policies Regarding the Certificate of Added Qualifications Program.
