• Dual Enrollment-College-in-High School enables qualified high school students to take college courses at a reduced rate of tuition and earn college and high school credits while still in high school. Students also have the opportunity to earn a $1,000 scholarship for their first year at Penn State York. Dual enrollment is successfully enrolling in and completing a college course and receiving high school AND college credit for that course. The student’s high school must approve the awarding of high school credit for the college course. Penn State York participates in two dual enrollment programs. 1. Pennsylvania’s Dual Enrollment Program allows school districts to partner with eligible post-secondary partners to offer high school juniors and seniors, who can show they are ready, the chance to earn college credits while completing their high school requirements.
