What is the drug use among college students at a large metropolitan university?
A drug use survey was mailed to 1,200 randomly selected Arizona State University students during the Fall Semester of 1985. Information was collected on a variety of drugs, frequency of usage, age at first usage, etc. Out of the original mailing, 600 students returned completed questionnaires. The sample was judged to be representative of ASU students with respect to four variables — sex, age, academic level, and current number of hours enrolled.
