What is the drop-out rate of the Army AIT for EOD?
“EOD techs spend 10 months in job training at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. The school teaches all branches of the military. Students learn how to disarm everything from chemical and biological explosives to homemade pipe bombs. The training is rigorous and difficult, said Sopko, with a 60 percent dropout rate. ” http://www.globalsecurity.org/wmd/librar… Here is all about the school and training straight from the schoolhouse’s site itself: http://www.bragg.army.mil/eod/eod_school… Still don’t let that stop you! no way, this is a tough MOS but one of the most dangerus yet rewarding.
