What is the Driver Insurance Abstract Service?
The Atlantic Canada On-Line (ACOL) Driver Insurance Abstract service provides the ability to search for insurance abstracts for drivers. The users of this service are typically insurance agents or brokers who want to retrieve a profile of a specific driver. The Driver Insurance Abstract Service (DIAS) provides two methods of access to the driver insurance abstract information: via the Internet with a standard web browser; and via a Remote Machine Access (RMA) interface. How does the DIAS work? The DIAS web-based interface allows a registered user to log in, enter search criteria and view the results. The only software and hardware support required is a personal computer connected to the Internet and a web browser. What are the hours of operation? The NB DIAS is available from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (AST), Monday to Saturday. The ACOL Client Support Centre representatives are available from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (AST), Monday to Friday.
