What is The Drive for Discipline, Dedication and Desire?
The Drive for Discipline, Dedication and Desire is the inaugural Annual Giving and Awareness campaign for CYC. Although CYC hosts corporate fundraising events during the year (Live Amateur Boxing Show, Golf Tournament and Dinner Dance Night) this is the only fundraiser where CYC will directly ask families and staff, and community friends for financial support. It is a simple check writing campaign, and the funds raised will be used to build on the quality sports and education programs already offered to CYC student members. Why does CYC need an Annual Giving and Awareness Campaign? As a non-profit corporation, the CYC Board of Directors and staff have identified several goals to make CYC even better. With the membership growing, in order to continue to offer quality programs and opportunities, fundraising is a key component.
