What is the drinking age in the Netherlands?
There is no limit if you are with a parent or a guardian, but you have to be at least 16 to purchase beverages that are 15% ABV (alcohol by volume) or less, and 18 to purchase anything that is more than 15% ABV. If a shop fails to ask for an ID-card and they are identified having sold alcohol to an underage, they are fined.
