What is the dress codes on a Yangtze river cruise?
The Dress Code is casual during the day and while on shore. Shorts and t-shirts are fine, even in the dining room. There is usually a captain’s welcome dinner on the first or second night, and sometimes a farewell dinner (on some of the ships) on the last night onboard. It’s usually a cocktail dinner with buffet. You may dress comparetively “formal” – but I bet you can always see some people with informal even very casual clothes. Remember, it’s YOUR cruise and you should wear what’s comfortable for you.
