What is the dress code for teachers and volunteer participants?

Casual business dress is acceptable in Thai schools. Women should wear knee length or longer skirts, dress slacks and blouses that cover their shoulders. Tank tops, tee shirts and sleeveless shirts are not acceptable. Men should consider short-sleeve shirts and casual trousers. Ties are not necessary. Light-weight, easy-to-wash cotton fabric is recommended for the hot season. A light sweater or jacket, along with a raincoat is advised for cooler temperatures and rainy seasons. Shoes that cover the toes are preferred, although sandals can be worn, depending on school code.
