Picture of Mac Dock Bar You can use the Dock for one-click access to the applications and files you use most. You’ll find the Dock at the bottom of your screen. On the left hand side, it contains several useful applications you’ll likely find yourself using frequently, as well as any open (running) applications. You can also use the Dock to quickly see which applications you have open—any open application appears in the Dock with a small black triangle below it. On the right side of the Dock you will see icons representing any open windows that have been minimised, as well as an icon representing a Trash can.
