What is the disadvantage of mobile phones ?
I don’t thing there are any significant disadvantages. Some people think that the waves that carry the information to your phone could be harmful if you have your phone on your head all the time. It isn’t proven. Normal phone use has been tested and found to be harmless. Some people think that people who use cell phones for many hours per day will take too much microwave radiation to the brain and get cancer. The other mobile phone disadvantage is 911 service. In an emergency, when you call from a land line, the 911 operator knows where you are, and you get through to your local 911 operator at your local police or fire department. When you call 911 from a cell phone, you may not even be talking to the correct operator–they may have to transfer you to the correct police operator, who will then need to ask you where you are.
