What is the digital divide in computer applications?
The only way I have heard the phrase “digital divide” used is in the sense of Have and Have Nots. Essentially the “divide” is between those who have easy access to the digital world and those that do not. Consequently people who have the means to afford computers, broadband internet access, etc., have an enormous advantage in the modern world compared to those who do not.
