What is the difrent between digital and film camera?

0

A digital camera uses a light sensing computer chip to turn the light recieved by the camera lens into a series of 1’s and 0’s that can be processed and stored by a computer. This allows a lot of cool things to be done to the picture like copying, editing, emailing ect. The quality of the image is limited by the number of pixals on the chip. A film camera captures the light recieved by the camera on light sensitive film. This film has chemicals on it that react to light. The quality of the images is limited by the grain size of the chemicals used. These grains are much smaller then the pixels on a digital camera giving a film camera better image resolution. The down size is that the image is on the film only, need to be developed to be seen and cannot be easly edited, copied or emailed.
