What is the different between deciduous and evergreen plants?
Deciduous trees lose all of their leaves and are barren for a part of the year, the leaves are often broad. Evergreen trees retain some or all of their foliage throughout the year, growing new leaves before the old ones fall off, the leaves are often pine needles. Evergreen trees are also known as coniferous trees.
