What is the Different between baptist, and pentecostal church?
Depends on the baptist or pentecostal church in question, but usually it is that the baptist church does not believe in the evidence of the infilling of the Holy Ghost is speaking in tongues, and most are devout Calvinists. Some baptists don’t believe in baptism anymore, but most baptists are… they just don’t believe its necessary. Modesty is personal, and a relationship with Jesus is just fine. Most Pentecostals don’t believe in Calvinism, have experienced the infilling of the Holy Ghost as evidenced by speaking in tongues, still believe one must be baptized in water (immersed)–though some argue about whether its in Jesus name or the Father, Son, and Holy GHost–, they believe in personal consecration and modesty (in other words, what you are on the inside will be reflected by what you are on the outside), and that one must have a personal devotion and relationship with Christ to enter heaven.
