What is the different between a roman chatholic and a protestant religion in term of doctrine?

I am a Protestant and in terms of beliefs we are very much the same, the biggest difference is that protestants say the final word is the Bible and no Church leader has more authority than that. Also there are more rituals for Catholics. The last thing that is greatly different is confessions which we (Protestants) believe that you only need to confess to God, where as Catholics must have the Priest as an intercessor between man and God.
