What is the difference “Luminance” and “Luminous Intensity” ?
Luminous intensity is a measure of the spatial density of light energy as perceived by the human eye, and is commonly measured in candela. Luminance is a measure of luminous intensity in a given direction, is often measured in candela per square meter and is commonly used to describe light emitted or reflected from flat surfaces.
